About Societi Brasserie
Tammy Botbyl and Peter Weetman, in conjunction with their partner at Jonkershuis – Groot Constantia, Chris Coetzee, have teamed up to open Societi Brasserie on the border of Tokai and Constantia.
Inspired by classic brasseries, this unpretentious space includes a huge bar, kitchen counter dining and alfresco dining in the walled garden. Retaining the ethos of Societi Bistro, seasonal products will be locally sourced and much emphasis is placed on small local artisanal producers.
Directions to Societi Brasserie
From Cape Town, head south on Simon Van Der Stel Road/M3 towards exit 21. Take exit 21 for Tokai Road towards the M40/Tokai. Turn right onto Tokai Road. At the traffic circle, take the forth exit and stay on Tokai Road. Your destination will be on the left. Shop 1 at Forest Glade House.Reviews for Societi Brasserie

Terrible experience last night! Aggressive waiter and manager. Unfriendly, unhelpful and obnoxious! A few trail runners got together after a run. Three Beers were not paid for apparently as the rest of table wanted to order food. The waiter [in a loud, unfriendly manner] kept saying that no order will be taken until the "tab" is paid. Trying to find out what this is all about we were met by more ranting and the manager also started ranting at the few runners. It took another 10 minutes to work out that 3 beers were not paid for yet... It could all have been avoided by simple, friendly means...
