The Akkerendam Nature reserve is a must - this is where the parkrun is and the only venue I visited - ideal overnight stop. Town is clean and roads are being upgraded.

Museum and slaghuiy

the Calvina Museum is old fashioned - but full of information. The boerewors at the slaghuis was outstanding. The lamb curry at the restaurant was soooo good.
