Windstone farm is a peaceful Backpackers lodge located on the R45, 10 km from Vredenburg and 120 km from Cape Town.

Once a horse stud and equestrian school, Windstone is now primarily a guest farm and caters for groups of all sizes.

Windstone is centrally situated and all major towns and attractions are within 25 km from us.

There are two accommodation options available, a Backpackers which has six rooms and can accommodate six persons per room, each room is en suite. Backpackers features a shared Lounge, Kitchen and Braai area.

We also have dorm accommodation for school, church and youth groups and can cater for 104 persons. We can also accommodate larger groups by combining the backpackers which gives us 140 persons. There is a male and female wing with separate ablutions and an adjoining hall which can fit 200 plus persons seated and includes a stage and lighting.

Catering is available for group bookings and all food is made with fresh ingredients.

We also offer conference facilities in one of two halls, and can offer a PA system, overhead projector, whiteboards etc. We have seats for 300.

There are many facilities on the farm that guests can make use of including Volleyball court, large sand soccer field, obstacle course and braai facilities sprinkled all over. You will also find horses in paddocks if you explore a bit and no doubt will come across many feathery friends that call Windstone home. We have bird feed buckets scattered throughout so children can feed the chickens and peacocks.

We are Pet friendly and have a Kennels and Cattery on the property to keep your pets safe for an additional cost.
