Important Information

N.B. Please NOTE - Only EFT payments are accepted - any cash payments incur banking fees, AND will be for the Guests account -
Please note this EXTRA COST - R 795.00 post cleaning fee - Please note... included in quote.
No Breakage/No smoking deposit of R 1 000.00 refundable after 3 days of departure should no damage be incurred. Breakage and No smoking deposit, Not included in quote and will be payable before arrival with any outstanding balances.

1) Please contact Mrs du Toit(number to be provided) approx 60 mins before arrival to confirm House key collection....
The House Keys are normally to be collected at the Caltex Garage in Stanford and dropped off there too on departure.
1.1). Deposits, Balances and payments are required as displayed above. Any payment received will indicate that guests accept all condition contained herein.
Cancelled bookings will result in monies paid being forfeited.
2). Charcoal braais allowed on the property in the Braai areas only.
3). The entire House is a no smoking area - please respect this.
3.1) Evidence of smoking will result in 'no smoking' deposit being forfeited.
4). No animals are allowed in the House.
4.1) Swimming Towels are not provided - please bring your own.
5). The House is not serviced - this can be provided at R450.00 per day - dishes washed, beds made, floors washed, bathrooms cleaned.
5.1) Please contact Martie if you require this service and pay her directly.
5.2) Long Stays: Renters should have the apartment cleaned once per week - by Martie's team.
7). The unit occupancy limit is eight persons - please don’t exceed this. If you require more people to stay please advise this up front as there maybe a small extra fee per person.
7a) Notwithstanding the above (clause 7), the number of occupants can not be exceeded as stated on the invoice at any time without authority from the owner.
8). Please use electricity sparingly - switch off appliances and lights when not required.
9). Use all appliances only for what they were designed for.
10). Full DSTV and an Extra view for the KIDS is provided.
11). Please note breakage deposit and non smoking deposit - these will be returned after inspection into your bank account within 3 days if NO damage.
12). Enjoy your stay - and remember to keep noise levels down after 22:00 at night.
13). Escalate any issues or concerns immediately to Martie.
13.1). Payment of your deposit/full payment will be taken that you agree to all the terms and condition.
14) The House owners accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury, death, loss, damage, expense or accident suffered at the House you have booked, and arising from any act of God, nature,
war, terrorism, insurrection, riot, boycott, theft, labor action, government action, natural disaster, bad weather or interrupted electrical/water/municipal services. And all appliance failures are included.
You stay at Whale Heights entirely at your own risk.
15 Important Consideration - Although you are on holiday, neighbors must be considered at all times. Thus renters agree to behave in an acceptable manner so that neighbors are not subjected to abnormal living conditions.
16.) Therefore Whale Heights is not to be used for Parties or/and Corporate/Business functions/events. However renters ONLY may obviously utilize Whale Heights to celebrate a Special occasion in a socially acceptable manner.
17). Please leave the Apartment as you found it - excessive cleaning will result in extra costs to the renter.
