Tucked away among tall trees, under the gaze of the solemn Amatola Mountains, lies Wattle Chop. It is only 7 km from Stutterheim. Wattle Chop has a beautiful trimmed lawn dotted with trees; a perfect site for camping. Not far from the camping area are self catering cabins, fully equipped including linen and towels. 

A dam with a raft and canoes entertains all for hours. Wattle Chop is sufficiently removed from town to make it feel like a different place but close enough for convenience. The perfect getaway for anyone, whether on business or pleasure.

★★★★★ Beautifull cabins in tranquil surroundings, neat, clean and well equipped. Excellent host! The electricity was of on the 21st of Dec and she even brought us a cadac gasbottle to make coffee!
