About Ver Weg / Far Away Self-catering Apartments

VerWeg / Far Away Self-catering Apartments offers comfortable accommodation situated in Jacobs Bay. The apartments are only 140 metres from the sea and close to various shops and hidden treasures.

We offer TVs, fully equipped kitchens, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and sea views in both apartments.

There are plenty of things to do in the area, including going to the lovely beach for the day.

Enjoy some great seafood restaurants, wonderful hiking along the bays, game spotting and wine tasting as well.

Safari: The West Coast is known for the most beautiful display of wild flowers during the Flower Season, from the months of July to September and our establishment is favourably situated in the picturesque village of Jacobsbaai.

Beach: The property is overlooking 'Moerie se Baai' - one of the six picturesque bays of the greater Jacobsbaai - a few yards away from trails with breathtaking views, especially at sunset, along the coastline.

Romantic: The indoor 'kaggeltjie' (fire place) in Apartment 2, adds to the cosy, romantic atmosphere. All units are stylishly furbished and utterly neat.

Covid Safety Approved: All facilities are sanitized and there is no contact with other guests. Every unit is private.

Heleen is a very kind and attentive host and makes you feel at ease from the moment you arrive.The upstairs unit that we rented is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The seaview and sunsets from our private outside area was spectacular.A very enjoyable stay - we'll be back for more!

★★★★★ We came here just to switch of after this very chaotic last term we had at school. This cosy, very neat and well equiped cottage, was everything we needed and more. Even though it was windy, we entertained outselves inside - the huge window in the front allowed us to constantly have a view of the ocean, which was wonderful!Helene is a wonderful, caring hostess. We will certainly come back again!
