About Umkhumbi Lodge
Nestled in the sand-forest, Umkhumbi Lodge offers spacious accommodation in comfortable air-conditioned rooms. The lodge is situated within Kuleni Game Park, which is a small private reserve near the town of Hluhluwe, and not far from Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park.We have rooms with 2 single beds or 1 kingsize bed. The bedrooms all feature an en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower. Family chalets have 2 bedrooms with an inter-leading door sleeping a family of 4. Fantastic guided or self-guided trails within our private game reserve. Excellent wildlife sightings, birdlife and photographic opportunities. Mountain biking also permitted.
We offer in-room treatments by a local masseuse.
We have family rooms, a children's outdoor play area, an indoor drawing/games table and plenty of games to play. We run a special nature kids program aimed at children between 4 and 12 years. We offer free fun educational night walks.
Our property is prepared according to FEDHASA guidelines. Our staff have been trained on COVID-19 preparedness including PPE, social distancing, hand hygiene and wearing masks. We clean our property with all mandatory disinfectants.
