Hondo Hondo Tented Camp offers six Forest ensuite tented rooms situated along or overlooking the forest boundary. Each room is well equipped, with all furniture made from locally available renewable sources such as coconut wood and bamboo. All beds boast comfortable spring mattresses and feather pillows, and soft throws over the beds. The open-air bathrooms offer views up into the nearby forest canopy while you shower, and are equipped with western-style flush toilets, huge solar hot water “rain” showers, sink and shaver socket.
Guests can enjoy their meals at the on-site restaurant. Complimentary breakfast is served daily to all guests. Meals are prepared with available fresh local ingredients. The set menu changes daily and with advance notice we cater for dietary requirements as best as we can. Each morning is a breakfast feast, served with Tanzanian coffee or tea. The lunch can be served at the camp or a picnic lunch is provided while on an activity and a three course dinner.
Airport shuttle, laundry services, hiking in the park, birding around Hondo Hondo, cycling and day trips can also be arranged upon request at a charge.
