All rooms in the house are tiled except for the main bedroom. Guests have access to the Marina waterway, and if needed paddle boats can be rented in the area.

Activities in and around the area include Gary's Surf School, Danger Beach, Greater Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve, Muizenberg Beach, and Kitch Kombuis.
