Important Information

Each booking will be confirmed by Tirool’s management as soon as possible after receiving the booking form and deposit. Only on receipt of this confirmation will the booking be treated as confirmed. Once Tirool’s management has confirmed the booking and you have paid a deposit, the named person on the booking will be responsible for the total price of the accommodation, as agreed on the confirmation. The remaining balance of the agreed accommodation cost must be paid by electronic bank transfer before arrival or in cash at arrival. Management regrets that personal cheques will not be accepted unless by prior approved.

A 50% non-refundable reservation deposit is payable by direct electronic bank transfer to secure your booking. The sending of the booking form confirms your acceptance to pay for any damage of any kind caused by your occupancy of the property. The cost of repairs and/or replacements will be deducted from your deposit prior to the calculation of the overall balance payable on your rental. In the event of any excess damage of any kind or excessive cleaning costs, the named person on the booking form will be held responsible for all additional costs which exceed the deposit.

The party leader stated on the booking form is responsible for the care of the accommodation property and is expected to take reasonable care of it, including the locking of all doors. At the end of the rental period, all utensils, carpets, furnishings, walls, fittings must be left clean and tidy. At the end of the rental period, an inventory count will be conducted and the cost of any damaged or missing utensils or equipment will be the responsibility of the party leader. It is the guest's responsibility to notify Tirool’s management immediately of any sudden equipment failure so that reasonable action can be take to rectify the situation.

There is a maximum capacity for all our properties. Everyone occupying the property must be listed when the booking is made. The accommodation cannot be shared or sub-let and only the persons listed at the time of booking are permitted to stay in the property. No pets are permitted. Our accommodation is generally unsuitable for the elderly or infirm and is not wheelchair accessible. Persons under 21 years of age are not acceptable unless accompanied by parents or responsible adults. Tirool’s management reserve the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not met. Failure to comply will render the booking void and no compensation will be paid.

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, smoking is not permitted within any of Tirool’s properties. No pets are allowed.

Tirool’s management accept no responsibility whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal belongings however caused. The use of all accommodations and amenities is entirely at the user's own risk. Tirool’s management cannot accept any liability for any loss of rental time due to travel problems, flight delays or cancellations, industrial disputes or any events outside our control, including any form of Force Majeure. Management cannot accept responsibility for the sudden failure of equipment but will take immediate reasonable action to rectify any such failure upon notification by the guests.

It is a condition of the booking that all members of the party are covered by travel insurance which carries adequate protection against delays and cancellations, and has adequate medical insurance, and for your luggage and personal belongings.

Tirool’s management accept no responsibility whatsoever and no compensation or any other payment will be made if any cancellation or change to the terms of the booking becomes necessary due to war or threat of war, riots, civil commotion, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions, building or construction in progress within the community, technical problems with transportation, closure or congestion of airports, alterations or cancellation of schedules by carriers, or any other events beyond our control.

Tirool’s management shall be allowed access to all accommodations at any reasonable time during your stay.

This conduct is subject to and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Namibia and all parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Namibian courts.
