The camp offers three luxury safari tents. The first main tent consists of a king sized bed with en-suite bathroom where a freestanding bathtub opens up onto the surrounding bush. The second main tent is equipped with a double bed and a freestanding single bed. This tent also has an en-suite bathroom and a private open air shower area to enjoy. The smaller tent offers two single beds as well as an en-suite toilet and basin. The camp also offers a large braai boma with a fully equipped kitchen as well as an open-air shower and bathroom.

Many come to Thorn Tree to relax, but if you are the more adventurous type, walking and cycling is permitted on the farm and game drives are available subject to prior arrangement. Ladismith also offers a range of interesting activities including brandy and wine tastings.
