The kitchens are equipped with stoves, ovens, microwaves and toasters, as well as Weber braais. The comfortable lounges are equipped with TVs with access to local channels and there is Wi-Fi Internet access. The Other Corner also has a cosy fireplace and The Kingfisher Corner has a DVD player. Each unit has a private entrance to give visitors some privacy and they have garages for one car. Guests have private access to the lagoon which is safe for swimming and just relaxing in the sun.

Sedgefield borders the Goukamma Nature Reserve and the Wilderness National Park, leaving the visitor spoilt for choice when it comes to birdwatching and walks through indigenous fauna and flora. Groenvlei Lake, which forms part of the Goukamma Nature Reserve, is the only fresh water lake in the district and it lies to the east of Sedgefield. It is popular for its bass fishing and for the more adventurous there is paragliding which is also popular in the area.
