The Getaway Guest House is an exclusive establishment offering superior accommodation, with spectacular sea and breaker views overlooking the Amanzimtoti coastline. Whales and dolphins are frequent visitors and the spectacular sardine run occurs late in June/July. The Getaway offers a personalized service and can assist with all your requirements.

Accommodation is offered in nine rooms, individually and tastefully decorated, with luxury duck feather duvets and pillows. All rooms feature DStv, air-conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, safe, hospitality tray, and hairdryer. Most bedrooms also have private balconies with spectacular sea views. Our Executive Suite has its own lounge, wile the Honeymoon Suite comes complete with a Hollywood bathroom and Jacuzzi.

Folding doors open from the rooms, lounge and dining area to a magnificent vista. Rooms are non-smoking, however smoking is permitted on the balconies. We also have a licensed pub and smoking lounge with a large flat screen TV, and other features include a secure parking area, wireless internet and a large barbecue area. In addition, we serve a full English breakfast with South African fruits, and can also provide evening meals, a laundry service and airport transfers.

We are particularly business-friendly, being situated close to the airport, Prospect, and Durban Central 25 km. For holidaymakers and overseas tourists we can also arrange shoal hiking trails, beach rides, jumping and dressage, micro-light flying, hot-air ballooning, and canopy tours.
