Important Information

Dear Guest

Please take note of the House Rules.

1. A refundable breakages deposit of R4,000.00 is payable directly to the agent upon confirmation of the booking, and will be refunded to yourself once an inventory has been completed upon your departure.

2. The arrival time is 14h30, please do not arrive early, unless by prior arrangement. Departure time is at 09h30, kindly ensure that all windows are closed, air conditioners and lights are off and all doors are locked. Extra charges are applicable for late checkout. We regret no refunds on early departure. Under no circumstances do we allow students, or bookings where all persons included are under the age of 25.

3. The guest acknowledges and confirms that his/her booking and entitlement to stay in the unit is limited to the period in respect of the booking confirmation from herewith.

4. We reserve the right to take repossession of the accommodation if, in our opinion, any party acts in a manner prejudicial to the well‐being and comfort of other guests or neighbours, with no refund.

5. The maximum occupancy of the unit may not exceed the maximum numbers stated on the booking form. Failure to adhere to this will result in the extra people having to move out with immediate effect, or the booking will be cancelled and no refund given.

6. In the unlikely event of the apartment not being available for the period as per your booking form, due to circumstances beyond our control, the guest waives the right to compensation in respect of damages occasioned thereby and we reserve the right to provide alternative accommodation.

7. Arrival and Departure: Office hours: Monday – Friday 08h00 – 16h30. Saturday and Sunday 08h30 – 12h30. Keys must be returned to our offices, the security office at Nkwazi Ridge Estate or left with cleaning staff/housekeeper on departure. Keys not returned will result in an additional daily rate being charged. The guest shall be held responsible for the locksmith account if keys/remotes are mislaid, damaged or lost.

8. Inventory: A copy of the inventory will be placed in the welcome booklet, we ask our guests to check the inventory provided and report back to us by the next working day; otherwise guests will be held liable for any damage or losses in the apartment/House. Your honesty and integrity are appreciated in this regard. Once all conditions are met your breakage deposit will be refunded after your departure. In the event that damage or loss exceeds the breakage deposit you hereby irrevocably consent that you will be held legally liable for any additional costs.

9. Cleaning: Servicing of the home is included in the daily rate but a gratuity for Devirius would be greatly appreciated.

11. Pets Policy. The homeowner has previously allowed dogs but will do so occasionally, dependant on the circumstances. Dogs are only allowed with prior consent from the homeowner.

12. No smoking in House. There are ashtrays provided but smoking is only to happen outside the home.

13. The Proprietor, his agent or its employees shall not be held liable for personal injury, death or loss/theft/damage to property that may occur during the guest’s stay, on or about the Proprietor’s premises. The guest/s hereby waive/s and abandon/s any claims of whatsoever nature including but not limited to that for theft, injury, death, loss or damage of whatsoever nature, against the Proprietor, whether arising from the Proprietor’s default, negligence or otherwise.

14. The guest agrees to waive all rights to compensation, in respect of injury to persons or loss of or damage to property which may occur whilst on or about the Host’s premises, and agree to indemnify the Hosts/Agents in respect of all claims for personal injury or loss of or damage to property which may occur during their stay on or about the Host’s premises.

15. On receipt of your deposit, you are deemed to have accepted the above conditions of letting.
