Important Information

Payment Policy:

Provisional reservations are held for a limited time, after which time the reservation needs to be confirmed by paying the deposit, or space will be released for resale. Confirmation of provisional reservations:
• Payment of 25% of the total reservation value within 21 days of confirmation
• Payment of the balance due 60 days before arrival

Credit Cards: Visa and MasterCard accepted.

Cancellation Policy

- The guest can cancel free of charge until 21 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within 21 days of arrival.
- The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation within 21 days of arrival.

Child Policy
When there are children younger than 6 years old in a family group, management at the lodge needs to be made aware of the booking and parents/guardians need to know and accept The River Club’s CHILD POLICY.
• Please request the full CHILD POLICY from reservations@theriverclubzambia.com.
• Note: Even on request, it is just not possible to provide infant cots or offer babysitters.
• Parents or a parent (or official guardian) need to accompany their children at all times.
• None of the swimming pools at the lodge are fenced or covered with safety nets.

CHILD RATES
• 4 – 16 years of age - when sharing with two full-paying adults, each child pays 50% of the rate.
• Two under-16 children old enough to share a River Suite without an adult; each pays 50% of the single-adult rate.
• 3 years and below - no charge if sharing parents’ bed

EARLY ARRIVAL / LATE DEPARTURE
- Should arrival or departure be early or late and your room unavailable, guests are welcome to enjoy the public areas of the lodge while safe storage for luggage will be provided.
- The bathroom (with shower) adjoining the gym is also available for use.
