Numerous attractions are around the corner. The famous Sir Lowry Pass is a 5-minute drive away and leads over the Hottentots Holland Mountains to the village of Grabouw/Elgin. Hermanus (via the most scenic drive), Franschhoek and Stellenbosch are beautiful towns to visit and are only a day trip away.

Both Strand and Gordon’s Bay have a lovely beach; safe to walk and swim and with plenty restaurants to enjoy a drink or a meal while watching the sunset. Somerset West has a large shopping mall where you can purchase whatever you need.

On a ten minute drive from our cottage, you will find a smaller shopping mall for groceries, meds and take away food. We do not have DStv, please bring your computer or IPad with HDMI or USB cable to watch online. We have large dogs.
