In the historic south-west corner of the Cotswolds, high above Stroud on the wilds of Rodborough Common, stands the handsome Bear of Rodborough Hotel. Originally built in the 17th century, this former coaching inn provided a much appreciated resting place on the main coaching route from Gloucester to London. To this day it offers a warm welcome to all. Set in 300 acres of National Trust land, the Bear of Rodborough Hotel is ideal as a centre for country walks, visits to historic sites or a trip to the races.
