About Thaba Pitsi Safari Lodge

In a luxury bush veld Eco Lodge come and experience something different. The quietness of Thaba Pitsi's 1000-hectare wildlife sanctuary,is the perfect getaway from the stress of city living.

Thaba Pitsi is an oasis of peace and tranquility which offers an exclusive out-of-Africa experience with ample wildlife and a beautiful setting, in a malaria-free area; an experience to savour and enjoy. Thaba Pitsi which means 'mountain of the zebras', in Northern Sotho is situated in the Waterberg in Limpopo, the Province of Peace.

Thaba Pitsi Safari Lodge is located in close proximity to Gauteng, just one-and-a-half hours' drive from the Johannesburg International Airport and one hour's drive from Pretoria. The Waterberg mountain range in the Limpopo Province is noted for its moderate climate and is considered South Africa's last great wilderness. Also available below on the Reserve: The Country House & 2 Bungalows situated down the mountain on the farm side of the property:(5 rooms in the country house + 3 bungalows (4 people & 2 people).

These accommodation are a charming farmhouse, converted into a Country House & Bungalows fully furnished & equipped. It offers barbecue facilities, fire place, swimming pool & Jacuzzi. You can book DBB (dinner, bed and breakfast package) or Self Catering.

ACTIVITIES:Lots of activities allows to combine nature discovery with outdoors activities- game drive R85 ($) - gastronomic restaurant ($)- swimming pool- jacuzzi- fitness area (lodge only)- mountain bike trails- walking trails - petanque- pool table (lodge only) quads trails ($) R375/quad/hour - clay pigeon shooting ($) guided R380/25 targets (minimum 50 targets & minimum of 2 required).

We supply quality shotguns, clay targets and ammo- bow shooting ($) R50/pers. 1/2h/guided. We supply bows, arrows, target & instructions. Minimum of 2 required. In addition various other optional activities (external visits) can be arranged. We also do helicopter flips for R700 per person and the minimum amount of people is 2 per flip.

Family friendly: Babysitting services are available on request.
