Situated on the outskirts of Dullstroom, Sunset View is the first house in a newly established estate called Featherview. Well-built in a secure garden, the house features one double en-suite and two twin-bedded rooms, as well as a separate bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and a separate guest toilet.

The living area is perfect for entertaining, with a cosy lounge and dining area opening on to an under cover patio with braai facilities. A large, well-equipped kitchen offers all utensils and appliances including a fridge, freezer, microwave, electric stove and oven, washing machine, and dish washer, and opens onto the living area and patio. The property is secured and there is a single garage with outside parking space for an additional car. Full DSTV is included at no extra cost for stays in excess of 1 night.


We were delighted to be voted as Best Establishment in Dullstroom for 2015 and Best Value for Money in Dullstroom 2015 by Sleeping-Out guests, and a Top Venue again in 2017 with 4.5 stars. In 2018/19 Afristay awarded us a Gold Prestige certificate of excellence, and we have just received a 2019/20 Certificate of Excellence from them. Coming from our visitors, that is high praise, and we intend to keep up the standards.

Sunset View is conveniently situated on the outskirts of the main village of Dullstroom and is an easy 15 minute stroll into the centre. The contents of the home go well beyond “basic” furnishings and finishes: it is a beautifully finished and decorated home. All you will need for a comfortable stay is provided. The home enjoys a beautiful view over the valley to the distant hills, where you can watch the sun set from the sheltered patio with the built-in braai. On cold nights, you can enjoy the warmth of a roaring log fire.
