Stonechat is an ideal weekend getaway for the family who enjoy the outdoors and countryside. Fish for trout and bass in the main dam enjoy 6 kms of hiking and cycling, or canoe on the dams in safety. We offer a well appointed home from home spacious cottage that is fully furnished and fitted with all normal modern appliances. Take a self drive game view experience early in the morning or late afternoon, and look for the sometimes elusive occasional game walking around such as water buck, kudu, eland, reed buck and warthog. See the fish eagle in its spectacular dive, and other birdlife which frequent the surroundings. Limestone Cottage has two bedrooms, with one double bed, two single beds, a bath, lounge, dining room, and a kitchen. Included is bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, a kettle, toaster, fridge, gas stove, microwave oven, a TV , a wood fireplace and an outside braai.
We also have two tents on decks on the main dam, with beds, self catering.
