Guests can admire 180-degree panoramic sea views, elevated 250 meters from the beach and faces the breakers at Thompsons Bay beach.

Guests have the option of choosing either the CHALET & or the COTTAGE for accommodation, both are separate homes situated behind a 3.0m high perimeter security wall complex, with the same ocean views, the cottage is above the chalet, both with separate driveway & garage entrances. The Chalet is larger than the Cottage with flowing wrap around verandas, living room and entertainment areas. Groups or families can have the opportunity of booking both the CHALET & COTTAGE, a total of up to 16 People.


This chalet has a main bedroom with king size bed & en suite bathroom / ocean facing walk in shower, with two more rooms with king size beds, one of which offers a converted two single bed sleeper, upon request, two guest rooms share a bathroom with walk in shower. The third bathroom & guest loo is off of the living area. The common area has a desk and double bunk ideally suited for children.

The living area is open plan with dining table, island breakfast bar and gas hob, bar counter, large lounge and full DSTV bouquet & uncapped Wi Fi. The scullery has a fully equipped kitchen with double door fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.

The outdoor wrap around veranda includes a 10 seat dining table, D/ Door fridge freezer & kitchenette; gas fired braai and separate coal braai and fire pit sitting area, together with a barrel table & stools, cane comfort suite, sun loungers, umbrellas, a pool & mini bar. Small, well-mannered dogs are allowed, provided it is arranged in advance.

The location is within a 5 minute walk to the beach, three restaurants, liquor store and ATM. Ballito's town centre is a 3.5 kilometres drive and King Shaka International Airport is 22.4 kilometres away.
Once guests have paid there deposit, the balance of payment is made direct to Starfish Accommodation, 30 days before arrival. Bank details will be provided after booking. House rules strictly apply & are published in house. Party or Rage groups must confirm arrangements prior to booking.
