Come, relax and enjoy our very special bush retreat. We have two very well appointed safari tents set on the banks of the world famous Oliphants River. We are located in the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve near the Safari town of Hoedspruit. Our special reserve is home to a range of plains game including Giraffe, Wildbeest and Zebra.
The reserve is perfect for those wanting to walk or cycle with the animals and if you are looking for the big 5 we are close enough for a day trip to Kruger Park too. Our tents are fully equipped with en-suite bathroom with outside showers and their own private fire pit and outdoor kitchen. We are based on a very large riverside plot. Our two safari tents are spaced well away from each other, with plenty of room for privacy. As well as being perfect for couples we are a family friendly lodge.
We can provide everything from cots to high chairs to help you and your family enjoy your stay. The tent can be configured in a number of ways to accommodate 2 adults in singles or a king size double. We can then add extra beds to accommodate infants and children, with a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children per tent. Please feel free to contact me if you are unsure about the arrangements for your family. We can provide everything from a cot through to a small single bed. We have a large solar heated and naturally filtered swimming pool and a children's splash pool. Next to our pool is a large well equipped lapa that guests are welcome to use. This area has a braai, a firepit and cooking facilities there for our guests to enjoy.
You can reach the Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park in just over an hour and we are very close to start of the panoramic route. Ndlovumzi is an excellent base to explore the many wildlife focused attractions such as Moholoholo rehabilitation centre, the excellent Kinyonga Reptile Centre and the Hoedspruit endangered species centre. As a guest of ours you are free to explore the reserve by yourselves or you can join us on a safari drive, walk or cycle. Commonly seen on our reserve are giraffes, zebra's, wildebeest, Kudu and Nyala. there is also the possibility of seeing other animals less commonly seen such as the Cape Clawless Otter, Aardvark, Porcupine, Civet and Genet Cat. Our reserve list also includes some real rarities.
The bird life is also fantastic, we see a good range of riverine and woodland/scrub birds plus a very impressive range of raptors, vultures and owls. Since there are no big 5 animals in the reserve, a bush walk is a must. Hoedspruit is less than 45 minutes away.
We will always be here to check you in. We live in the farm house on the very large 8Ha plot. If you need us generally we will be here. If you wish to enjoy the peace and quiet of the bush you are free to do so!
We can offer a range of activities including photographic workshops, guided walks and trips into the Kruger National Park with our recommended tour guide.

The nearest supermarket is in Hoedspruit town, which is 30km away.
If you don’t think that you will have chance to pick up supplies we can provide a Braai pack, Please PRE ORDER before your stay.

Prepared green salad, New potatoes, 2 T-bone steaks, fire lighters and Braai wood.
