Built in 1880 as a parsonage this gracious Georgian style house, breathes character and ambience in a street graced by beautifully restored homes. The house is set back from the road with well kept lawns and flower beds while the back garden rolls down to the river with an attractive duck pond. In this tranquil setting guests can enjoy tea in the garden and enjoy the superb view of the Sleeping Beauty mountain peak after which the house is named. Our bedrooms are large, with high, beamed ceilings, wall heaters ensure your comfort in winter and ceiling fans cool the air in summer. R

Riversdale has excellent restaurants but a candlelight dinner with your hosts is an option which has led many of our guests to return. This does need to be pre booked, the fruit and vegetables served are mostly home grown. We pride ourselves on our personal service and knowledge of this beautiful country and are happy to advise guests on things to do and see and routes to other destinations.
