Visitors can enjoy self-catering accommodation at the Skilpad Rest Camp or enjoy various camping options along the coast. The main entrance, reception, administrative offices and prime accommodation are all at Skipad. During the flower season, in spring, we host a temporary luxury camp at the coast that is run by a private operator.

Skilpad Rest Camp offers guests a choice of eight camps, all of which having between one to six stands. The camps are not equipped with electricity or ablution facilities, although some camps such as Bamboeskamp, Bouldersbaai, Koringkorrelbaai, Kwass se baai and Varswater have enviro toilets.

The Namaqua National Park is situated near Kamieskroon in the Northern Cape Province and members of SANParks’ loyalty programme, Wild, do not pay conservation fees provided that proof of Identity and their Wild card are shown on arrival.

PLEASE NOTE: the rates are subject to the number of adults and children staying. Quotes will include the 1% Community Levy, but will exclude daily conservation fees, which are to be paid directly to camp on arrival.
