About Shelleypoint Holiday House

This elegant, double storey house is about 30 metres from the beach and has the most stunning sea views. It is centrally located and within walking distance to Shelley Point Hotel, Spa and Country Club.

The first level has an open plan, fully equipped kitchen. There is a lounge, dining area, fireplace, and balcony with sea views for guests to marvel at the ocean and surrounds. The en-suite bedroom and sleeper couch are situated on this level and are perfect for a family with a child. DStv is included for guests' entertainment. The ground level has two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. One bedroom has access to the garden and braai area; while the other bedroom has access to the garage and table tennis area. There is a second TV on this level and linen is provided but please bring your own towels.

Things to do in Shelley Point include Shelley Bay Beach, Stompneusbaai, The Marmalade Cat, Namaqua (Spruitdrift) Wines, Ormonde Private Cellar, and Die Plaasmol.

★★★★★ We enjoyed the stay. Beautiful estate with lot of activities to enjoy. Close to the beach and golf course in walking distance. Few short comings on house, braai area lights not working, struggle with front door, beds not in good condition, bad wire connection on DSTV decoder, no bathroom mats, curtain in bedroom bottom floor needs to be replaced. Nevertheless, will definitely go back to estate.

★★★★★ Well situated, beautiful beach close by. Dated furniture, very small kitchen, especially with 3 children. Could do with dishwasher, especially with a single sink only, bedside table would also be nice..

★★★★★ Not recommended for more than 4 people as the bunk bed in 3rd bedroom is too uncomfortable to sleep on (thin, hollow worn out mattress on a bed that cracks and squeaks and sinking in the middle, causing back pain and extreme discomfort). ★★★★★ I think was over price for this place, kitchen upstairs was impractical.I was not impress and I will not recommend to anyone.Doors cannot lock , Windows cannot close properly. Overall I will definitely won't be coming back to this house.One week and they only change the sheets once, on the arriveMattress was very bad old .
