About Shadowlands Guest Farm

Shadowlands is a beautiful guest farm situated in the Klein Karoo, just outside of Oudtshoorn.

There are four self-catering cottages available in a peaceful environment, surrounded by large trees. Meals can be arranged on request.

Guests can take a dip in the lovely swimming pool, or enjoy leisurely walks on the farm. Canoeing trips are also very nice on the Kamanassie River, bordering the historical Red Enon formations with conglomerates that are millions of years old.

I requested self catering, dog friendly with satellite TV but there was no TV, important for the long evening when travelling alone. ★★★★★ Loved sitting on the verandah and looking over the reeds of the river that were teeming with birds - both in the early morning and evening. Our children loved swimming in the communal pool and a paddle on the river. The house itself was pleasant and had all that we needed. Betsie and Anton were friendly and helpful.
