San Lameer Estate is South Africa's own tropical paradise. It has something to offer the whole family as well as having direct access onto two magnificent blue flag beaches. Based on the South Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, San Lameer was the very first golfing estate developed in South Africa. It is a 169 hectare nature conservancy, landscaped with 620 privately owned luxury villas surrounding the challenging 18 hole Championship golf course, a world class hotel and a 5 star spa. The climate of San Lameer is pleasantly sub-tropical, with cool breezes from the Indian Ocean.

Important Information
South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared. Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply in the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem. We can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.
