SandRocks Lodge provides accommodation for singles, travelers, couples, families and groups. Each room is painted in earth toned colors and fitted with a bed draped in mosquito netting. Some rooms feature an en-suite bathroom, while some have a shared bathroom facility. Extra Single beds or Double beds and cots can be placed in the rooms on request at a surchage of Tsh25,000 per night.
A complimentary fresh coconut drink is offered upon arrival. Breakfast attracts an extra charge. The unique boat restaurant which offers amazing sea view serves African and continental meals, while guests order alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, a variety of tea and coffee at the well stocked bar. The hotel houses a children playground with swings, slides and a paddling pool. During leisure hours, guests can enjoy day trips for sightseeing, shopping trips, boat trips to islands, fishing and snorkeling, horse riding and Safaris which can be arranged by the lodge. Evening entertainment to include Maasai dancing, drumming (and lessons), music and beach fires are available on request.
Airport pickup, city shuttle, baby sitting and WiFi services are provided for a surcharge. Onsite and nearby parking are available. The premises are guarded round the clock.
SandRocks Lodge is 35-minute south of Kigamboni/Dar es Salaam ferry and left off the road at Dege Eco Village onto Kichangani village.
