Set in the quiet residential area of Wavecrest, our family-run self-catering lodge provides relaxed, home-from-home, clean and cosy comfort. Certain units are pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry family with you..one less thing to worry about! Accommodation options comprise of two self- contained flats, or, for larger groups, the self-contained middle section with up to three double bedrooms. Access to middle section is shared with the owners who live on the upper level. The middle section has a pool table and table tennis and indoor braai with an amazing view of the ocean, lagoon and mountains.
Awake to views of golden sunrises over the ocean. Slow down and restore your soul with long walks on our famous shell-strewn beaches or the opportunity to do beach fishing, mountain biking or trail running, hiking, horse riding and bird watching trails, sand boarding, kite surfing, wind surfing, sky-diving or skate boarding - all nearby. Surf schools will assist those wanting to learn how to surf or just chill and watch the world’s best board riders in action from the boardwalks. We are also able to arrange motorbike enduro training and tours, deep sea fishing, whale watching tours and tours to the nearby game parks for those wanting to view the big 5.
As the sun sets behind the mountains, relax and enjoy the views and pleasure of watching schools of dolphins playing in the surf or the migrating whales and their calves from July to December, all whilst sipping a sun downer before your evening braai (indoor barbeque in main section).
We are a five minute stroll down to the beach and a five minute car journey to the local shopping area, where there are supermarkets, liquor stores, restaurants and petrol stations. The Billabong village area offers top surf clothing brands at factory prices, a wide variety of quality restaurants, craft breweries and coffee shops, The Fountains Shopping Mall and vibey night life are another five minutes drive away.
We will gladly assist in organizing trips to nearby Addo, Shamwari and other game parks or explore the beauty of the Baviaanskloof Mountain range, feel the thrill of the world’s highest bungy, experience the beauty of the Karoo or the wonders of the scenic Garden Route. Al l are nearby.
