There is an interesting shipwreck museum and some excellent restaurants nearby. For birders, blue cranes are a feature of this area. Bredasdorp is the perfect base from which to explore the De Hoop Nature Reserve, Malgas, Arniston, Struisbaai and L'Agulhas.
