Welcome to Rogge CloofThe origins of the farm and dark sky reserve Rogge Cloof (meaning rye ravine) date back to 1756 when Joachim Scholtz, the son of German and Nordic immigrants to Africa, acquired the property. Since then over more than 250 years, various owners have loved, nurtured and developed these hostile lands enduring lions, droughts, snow and freezing winds. Rogge Cloof is home to a variety of game (cheetahs, springbok, gemsbok, black wildebeest, fallow deer, grey rheebok, zebra) and offers guests the opportunity for guided Game Drives, or Self-drive Game viewing.
Rogge Cloof has a Karoo Wedding Venue. Full catering available. An authentic Karoo experience to make your special day truly memorable.
Rogge Cloof accommodation is the proverbial home-away-from-home where families can make memories in the tranquility of the Karoo. Activities available are multiple and varied and will entertain the whole family, from toddlers to grandparents.
Rogge Cloof offers the perfect opportunity for a romantic picnic under the stars, or just an opportunity to rediscover one another.

Booking Policy:
Rates include VAT @ 15% and are quoted in SA Rand (subject to changes).
All reservations require a 50% deposit upon confirmation of the booking, to be paid within 7 days.
Rogge Cloof reserves the right to cancel a booking should payment not be received.
The final payment needs to be made 60 days prior to guests' arrival.
For last-minute reservations, full payment is required upon confirmation!
All requests, confirmations and cancellations are only valid if in writing.
Rates are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.
Rogge Cloof accepts children of all ages.

AMEX and Diner's Club Cards unfortunately not accepted.
