Beautifully positioned right on the edge of the river, overlooking Flamingo pans, our house offers relaxing and homely accommodation ideal for children and escaping the busy pace of modern city life. We are continuously adding and designing natural and harmonious systems to the property in an attempt to reduce our carbon footprint whilst staying here. Redhouse is situated within an hour’s drive of the world-renown “Big 5” ADDO Elephant Game Park, in the malaria-free province of the Eastern Cape.

The village is home to the active Redhouse Yacht Club for children and seasoned sailors; the ZRC (Zwartkops Rowing Club) for bowls, squash and rowing and of course the local pub where locals gather for a natter. Also, we have the Redhouse Womans Association who upkeep the historical Village Hall by hosting several functions a year; and the Redhouse Benevolent Society who support the needy from poorer settlements. Also in the Village, we have an Anglican Church which belongs to the Parish of the Zwartkops River Valley. All in all a very active and social community and a perfect way of life for young and old.
