The Queen's Hotel is an oasis of colonial elegance and wired modern convenience in the heart of Oudtshoorn - the capital of the beautiful semi-arid Klein Karoo.Finished in 1880, this grand dame of South African hoteliery has recently been restored to her full original beauty and continues to offer sumptuous accommodation, service and dining that is reminiscent of a bygone era but driven by dynamic modern hotel management.The Queen's can accommodate 82 people in our 40 non-smoking rooms (Double, Twin, Family and Deluxe). The conference room can be reconfigured to accommodate parties and groups from 2 to 120 people in a comfortable working environment. There is security and abundant parking.
Our staff have been trained on COVID preparedness, hand hygiene, social distancing and wearing masks. We clean our property with all mandatory disinfectants.

Important Information
BOOKINGS
A booking requires a 50% deposit for confirmation.
The balance is payable 0 - 7 days prior to arrival and/or if a booking is made within 0 - 7 days of arrival the full settlement is required upon booking.
DEPOSITS
• The refund for cancellations between 21 & 7 days prior to arrival is subject to a fee equal to 50% of the full booking amount.
• Deposits/prepayments are not refundable for cancellations within 7 days prior to arrival.
• If a deposit is not received within 48 hours of a reservation, it will be automatically removed from the system and the booking will not be honored.
• Refunds on deposits for other bookings or premature departure are at the discretion of management and are dependent on the ability to re sell the room.
• All refunds are subject to a R250, 00 administration fee.
• The hotel issues confirmation of reservations on receipt of a deposit.
SETTLEMENT
All accounts are to be pre-paid in full, or settled in full on departure.
CHILD POLICY
We have limited family rooms and they are subject to availability.
Children under the age of 10 years stay free when sharing with adults.
One adult plus one child (under the age of 10 years) only pay the single room rate.
NO SMOKING
No smoking in rooms or building of the Queen's Hotel (penalties charge)
VISITORS
No visitors allowed in the rooms of the Queen's Hotel (We respect our other Hotel guests)
NO PETS ALLOWED
If a guest damage or break Queen's Hotel property, it must be reported immediately. The guest will then be responsible to replace/pay the item.

• Free Wi-Fi available in public areas and in rooms.
PARKING
• Free private parking is available on site (reservation is not needed).
Late check-out fees apply: R500 per hour (charged from 11:00).
Lost Keys: R100 penalty charge apply.
A full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
Breakfast is served from 07:00 – 10:00 daily.
