About Faircity Roodevallei

The Faircity Roodevalley Lodge in Gauteng, South Africa, offers a delightful and peaceful accommodation-, conference- and wedding venue. The lodge is located in the Highveld, north of Pretoria, on the banks of Pienaar’s River.

We offer comfortable hotel rooms furnished with rustic, wooden furniture, decorated with attractive fabrics in earthy tones. The rooms have balconies that overlook the river and are equipped with air-conditioning.

Nestled amid a bushveld nature reserve and bird sanctuary, the charming thatch roof establishment creates an inviting ambience on the slopes of the Magaliesburg Mountains. Overlooking the Roodeplaat Dam, the venue offers several memorable settings in which lifelong wedding memories can be captured.

The lodge is protected by 24-hour security and is a mere 45 minutes from Johannesburg's city centre and OR Tambo International Airport.

Wedding Venues: The garden is the ideal place for ceremonies. The indoor venue is not a chapel but can accommodate parties of 60 and 150 guests. Included are chairs, tables, cutlery and crockery, table cloths, waiters, the dance floor and much more.

Conference Venues: There are eight conferencing venues to choose from, fully equipped and with air-conditioning.

Family friendly: Certain room types can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two children.

Rooms are beautifully clean.The gardens and surroundings are beautiful. The pool is lovely. Housekeeping and maintenance is a bit slow to respond to problems. The bathroom towel rack was broken on arrival, so nowhere to hang wet towels.Only one towel provided for the double bedroom, when asking for an extra towel for the room, they had to be reminded 8 hours later for an extra towel. Towel rack was not fixed during stay. No extra toilet paper was provided once the roll was less than half (stayed for 3 nights).There is no mini fridge in the room to keep water or anything cold.
