★★★★★ Webt with a group of friends, there is no network where the house was located but this honestly added to the charm and serenity of the stay... each day we hiked about 2km or so to get network in order to make calls and respond to messages hashana. At no point did we even feel the need to watch TV. Perfect spot for unwinding, unplugging from the city buzz and making meaningful human connection.

★★★★★ Only thing I would improve on is some more trail markers at junctions and rivers and trail clearing in a few places. Beds were very comfortable, water hot and plenty of crockery for larger groups. Would highly recommend Poplar.

★★★★★ We had a lovely stay at Poplar Grove. The farmhouse is immaculate and we were well looked after by V the Housekeeper. The farmhouse is quite remote and there wasn't any cell phone reception.

★★★★★ This venue is not safe for ladies on their own. No cellphone reception and only the lady that cleans on the premises. Extremely secluded. Cellphone reception 2km + away.

★★★★★ Place is exceptional value for money. Large farm house off the beaten track. Lovely lady cleaned in the morning and evening which was a real treat not having to wash dishes. Everything really was great.
