For the golfer, there are two fabulous options - the most renowned being Arabella Golf Course which is just 11 km outside of Kleinmond. Kleinmond itself features a highly rated 9-hole course. This spectacular course is set at the foot of the mountains coupled with the occasional view of the ocean.

Kleinmond Beach is a stunning long, white sandy beach with Blue Flag status. Running parallel to the beach is Kleinmond Lagoon where you can hire a canoe and paddle around in safety. Further up the lagoon roam the feral Kleinmond horses that have become a part of the town’s history. Kleinmond also lies in the heart of fynbos country and the surrounding mountains offer many beautiful hiking trails. Other interests include the many bird species, penguin colony, and whale watching in season.
