We highly recommend this incredible experience for all interested in the battlefields, good food, excellent accommodation and a host that has a wide knowledge of the history and people of the area.

★★★★★ Of all the excellent accommodations we experienced during our visit to ZA this was tops. Foy and Ann made us strangers so welcome. It was so nice to share the meal table and family talk. Especially entertaining was the history lessons from Foy. It made our battlefield visits much more interesting. And we did, very much, appreciate Ann's kind attention.

I was the only paying guest at a large dinner party of the host's friends, but was welcomed into it as if I was one of the family. The host, Foy, was full of fascinating conversation about his family and South African history in general.
