Owl Cottage is situated on the southern edge of the Woodbush Forest in Limpopo. The owners of this avocado farm have created a haven for birders. With water features and bird feeders, they have attracted a variety of birds to the gardens around the cottage.We will welcome you with tea, coffee, sugar and rusks. There will be milk in the fridge and a bottle of red wine on the counter for you to sip as the sun goes down or enjoy with your first braai. Owl Cottage is situated on the southern edge of the Woodbush Forest in Limpopo. The owners of this avocado farm have created a haven for birders. With water features and bird feeders, they have attracted a variety of birds to the gardens around the cottage.

We will welcome you with tea, coffee, sugar and rusks. There will be milk in the fridge and a bottle of red wine on the counter for you to sip as the sun goes down or enjoy with your first braai. Our Koekeok chickens lay eggs with beautiful golden yolks, when they are laying well we will share them with you. There are herbs in front of the cottage, help yourselves and perhaps make a delicious omelette.

This seven-sleeper, self-catering cottage has three bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen leads onto an open-plan living room and dining room. We provide all linen and towels plus electric blankets and hot water bottles for chilly nights. We have installed a gas cooker and gas geyser so cooking and hot water are not dependent on the whims of Eskom! We have lots of candles and solar lamps too.

We are a non-smoking facility but do offer ashtrays outside on the covered patio. There is no TV but we provide board games, playing cards and a dartboard on the patio, along with a kettle braai and seating for six people. The gardens offer a good view of the valley over the sparkling swimming pool.
