Set high on the hills overlooking the breathtaking Knysna estuary, discover the heartfelt hospitality of Overmeer, only 2 km from the Waterfront and 9 km from the famous Knysna Heads. Here luxury, comfort and the surrounding beauty are all carefully harmonised to create the ultimate venue for an unforgettable stay.

Knysna is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy a wide range of activities, including whale-watching, game-viewing, hiking or mountain biking. Overmeer's staff is happy to arrange tours on your behalf. Nine luxury rooms feature full bathroom with spa bath as well as balcony with views of the Knysna Lagoon and mountains.

Three classic rooms and a classic family unit (not graded) each have a private entrance. Tea and coffee facility, bar fridge, safe and colour TV with bouquet DStv. Free wi-fi in the public areas. Sparkling pool. Laundry service. Breakfast, both Continental and English, is served in Overmeer's dining room.

Covid Safety Approved: We serve a limited breakfast in the guest's room. For now rooms are kept for 48 hours before the next guest are accommodated.

★★★★★ We were warmly welcomed on arrival. There is nothing nicer than arriving at a place where assistance is up to standard. We were escorted to our room which was neat and clean. Spacious and very cosy. The view from the bedroom was refreshing. Also very beautiful. Im very pleased that I had a good stay. I would personally stay here again.
