Oppihoek B&B is within walking distance from the centre of town and Aan de Kanal Steakhouse and Gift Shop is located on the premises, where traditional lunches and dinners are served. Parking is also available.

Golf, squash and bowls facilities are located nearby. Guests can also go horse riding in the mountains through the fynbos. Duivenhoks River and Breede River are good for fishing. Take a walk along the trails birdwatching or mountain bike in the area. The Blue Crane, our national bird, is very common in the area and guests are sure to see it.
