Ondas de Mar Lodge is situated in the picturesque province of Inhambane with its coconut tree-lined beaches and friendly people. Guests will be greeted by a stunning 180-degree ocean view and a warm smile from our friendly staff on arrival.

Guests have a choice of staying in one of five self-catering homes; Beluga, Blue Whale, Humpback, Orca and Whaleshark. Four of the houses have four bedrooms, while Whaleshark only has three bedrooms and the rooms are furnished with queen-size and single beds. Linen is provided and all the bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and mosquito nets. All the houses, except for Whaleshark, have two bathrooms that consist of showers only. Each kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, a fridge, freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Guests can enjoy their meals in the open-plan lounge and dining room which has seating for six or eight guests, depending on the house. Each house also has a deck or a patio with a barbecue area. Some also have a splash pool.

Each house is serviced daily and freshly caught fish will be cleaned. A backup generator is available for each house should power failures occur. A laundry service and airport transfers is available at an additional cost, or guests can hire a Land Rover with a driver.

The lodge is located on the dunes of the lighthouse side of the Praia de Barra and is a secluded site that was carefully chosen for its magnificent sea views and pristine beach. The surrounding area offers an abundance of sightseeing opportunities, activities and a variety of bars and restaurants. Guests can go waterskiing, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, quad biking and horse riding or just relax on the beach.
