About Lake Oanob Resort

Welcome to Namibia's unique waterfront “Lake Oanob Resort”, where you can experience the savanna, its wild- and birdlife, breathtaking sunsets and a touch of Swiss-Namibian hospitality; still, you are linked to the outside world (internet). The staff of our wonderful waterfront a la carte restaurant with a fully licensed bar will welcome you with a smile.

The Lake Oanob Resort is well known for his water sport activities. Try our new Aqua Cycles, go for water skiing or just enjoy a swim. Calm canoeing will relax you and from our Pantoon boat “Fish Eagle” you have a wonderful view across the Lake Oanob

Staying over? Lake Oanob's chalets are a new way of looking at self-catering facilities. Everything is provided, from 40 channels of satellite TV and a hi-fi, to a microwave oven. If you want to sleep under the stars and hear the sounds of the African night, consider a night at our camp site. Each spot has a braai place and a shower and ablution facilities are provided.

As the sun sinks over the horizon, take your seat for one of the most magnificent sunsets that Africa has to offer. Relax with a sundowner in our large bar or take a seat on the terrace and enjoy the cooling breeze.

Beach: Lake Oanob Resort is a Paradise for good swimmer!

Spa: Come and get treated by our Spa.

Wedding Venues: What about having the Wedding Service next to the Waterfront and a Candle Light Wedding Dinner by the Marina? And/or going for a Boat Cruise on the Lake for two or three hours with the all your invited Wedding Guests... what an experience!

★★★★★ Booking through Safari was a breeze but I enquired for a room with a lake view and double bed and got a room with two single beds and no view at all, in fact very far from the lake. The service was good and the breakfast options were delicious too although I do suggest getting a larger variety. We only wish we had stayed more nights here instead of further north in one of the NWR properties which was run down.
