The camp is intimate, and completely unfenced, accommodating a maximum of only 32 guests under permanent Canvas - medium-sized, fully equipped insect-proof custom-designed tents. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with hot shower and flushing toilets. The camp is fully hosted by trained professionals from the local community.
Nyumbu Camp consists of 13 spacious canvas – medium-sized, fully equipped insect-proof custom-designed tents. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with hot shower and flushing toilets. The camp is fully hosted by trained professionals from the local community. There is no main power, however, we do have 24 - hours power supply in the tents through the integrated solar system. There is an inverter system of the generator (Batteries can also be charged on this system) and our refrigeration uses gas and solar.
There is 24 - hours power supply in the tents through the solar system. Laundry services are offered at a small cost. The attentive staff organizes airport shuttle to the Ol Kiombo airstrip. The nearby Olepolos Maasai village boasts of a well trained professional team that host the camp. A full day game drive and a visit to the Olepolos Maasai village is organized. Nyumbu Camp is a 30-minute game drive away from the Ol Kiombo Airstrip.
