Nautilus Cottage offers beachfront accommodation and direct beach access in Boknes, halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London.Comprising of two cottages, accommodation is simple self-catering with sea and garden views. Cottage One accommodates four guests and Cottage Two accommodates two guests in a bachelor style set-up. Nautilus Cottage offers beachfront accommodation and direct beach access in Boknes, halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London.

Comprising of two cottages, accommodation is simple self-catering with sea and garden views. Cottage One accommodates four guests and Cottage Two accommodates two guests in a bachelor style set-up.

Both cottages are only a few steps away from the beach, and enjoy tranquil surrounding with lots of fresh air and easy accessibility to a safe, secure and quiet town.

Boknes is 20km from Alexandria and 8km from Bushman’s River and Kenton on Sea. Next to the extended Addo Elephant Park on the R72. It has a mild moderate climate all year round, with summer temperature reaching up to 30°C and winters an average 14 to 20°C. It is a Malaria free area.

Safari: Wildcoast, Grahamstown and Addo Elephant Park within one hours drive

Beach: direct entry to beach thirty yards away

Golf: Royal Port Alfred Golf course 30 km to the east on R72

Family friendly: safe haven for parents with children no snakes or scorpions--only mongoose, tortoise or grey duiker

Romantic: Silent and tranquil beach front cottage--no noises --only sound of waves forty metres away.

★★★★★ It was very nice, clean and relaxing. And we'll equip. The only suggestion I want to make can you perhaps get a booster for cell phone reception.? The signal is really bad. Other wise a wonderful experience. Thank you so much. And for the warm hospitality.

★★★★★ The home has a view of the sea when you walk to the edge of the property- the dune is rather high up, with steps from the neighbours property to get down to the beach. It is not a "swimming" or blue flag beach, but it makes for good quiet and lonely strolls. There were a lot of shark egg shells on the beach during our visit, as well as a number of dead seagulls...not sure why. There are no shops... Read more
