Upon entering the front porch, you’ll discover a locked mechanical and gear storage room for safely stowing your summer and winter outdoor gear. Once inside the house, the first floor features an open floor plan kitchen/dining/living room. The fully equipped kitchen features higher-end cabinetry and appliances, including a dishwasher, plus a breakfast bar with granite countertops followed by a large dining table that seats eight persons, plus a cozy living room with a built-in gas fireplace and a flat-screen dvd/monitor. Also featured is one bedroom with one queen sized bed, and a three quarter -bath. Ascending the staircase to the second floor reveals one bedroom with one queen sized bed, a master bedroom with two twin sized beds and one queen sized futon, along with a dvd-vhs/monitor, a laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer, and a large full master bathroom with two wash basins… ceramic tiled and hardwood floors, plus on-demand hot water round out the interior package. Just outside the back door is a nice deck with a gazebo covered hot tub. This WIFI equipped, pet-friendly, and monitored family vacation home will comfortably sleep six to eight persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

Please note: Wi-fi service is now available to our area, and provided free of charge for guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is in the process of dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the free Wi-fi service fails to function properly.

The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! Summer guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. Winter guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!
