Our cottage is the perfect escape, for a weekend or to write that novel that you need to bring into the world. Watch oceans from the top of the world, If you want a true getaway surrounded by nature with endless sea views yet be close to all that Cape Town has to offer, then look no further.

In the winter cuddle up in front of the cozy fireplace and watch the whales and dolphins and in the summer enjoy BBQs on the decks and endless activities in the immediate neighbourhood: Hiking, Kayaking, Horse Riding, excellent golf courses.

Our cottage is a cozy bright house. Please be aware that you need to climb 90 stairs to get the best view in Cape Town, but believe us, everyone, who has been there has sworn that it is absolutely worth the effort. The living area is open plan, the kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is one bathroom with a shower.

The bedroom downstairs has french doors that open up to the veranda, a queen bed, ample cupboard space and a dresser. The upstairs bedroom has two single beds, which can be put together if required. We do have outside bbq facilities for summer

Guests will have their total privacy as the cottage is only surrounded by nature.

Please note that you do need to climb the stairs to get to our beautiful place. But up there you will be rewarded with incredible views of sunrises, whales and eagles. (And a super fit body after your holiday, so you can enjoy South Africa s delicious wines without a bad conscience).

Fish Hoek

Fish Hoek is a special little place where time stands still. Go swim in the crystal clear water which s the warmest you will find in Cape Town. The beach is lovely with small rockpools along the access path and lifeguard and shark nets to keep you safe. For the outdoor fans, there is a plethora of possibilities: Hiking trails, mountain bike routes, surf ski and SUP rental etc right at your fingertips.

Beach: Fish Hoek Beach – 1 km

Golf: Clovelly Golf Course 2 km

Outdoor: Stand-up paddle, surf ski and surfboard rental all in Fish Hoek 1km
