Monte Rosa Guest House was built in 1904; this gracious Victorian house is surrounded by vineyards and the magnificent mountains of the Breede River Valley, a region well-known for its superb wines. Monte Rosa is also the only 4 star Tourism Grading Council of South Africa Guest Lodge in the Breede River Valley.

Monte Rosa Guest House offers you a secure off-street parking. The elegant homestead takes you back to an era of brookielace-stoeps, Oregon wood shutters and floors and is situated in a peaceful park like garden. A spacious lounge invites you to relax while reading or listening to music. On the cold days enjoy a glass of red wine at the open fireplace.

The en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated and have Victorian bathrooms. The luxurious honeymoon suite with its private entrance and Jacuzzi is available on request for weddings and other special occasions. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful swimming pool in the lovely private country garden.

The two private cottages are ideal for families of three to four people. Please book in advance. Breakfast can be served on request in the snug dining room or on the stoep overlooking the garden in summer.
