Modimolle Funky Stay Backpackers offers comfortable overnight accommodation on the very popular R101, just a short drive from Modimolle.We offer a funky and colourful stay in 14 rooms, grouped in unique A-frame rooms, that fit in perfectly with the surroundings. 11 of the rooms are furnished with twin beds while the other three are furnished with single beds. All of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers and they are equipped with TVs with DStv. Tea and coffee facilities are provided and parking is available.There is a beautiful pond which attracts bird life
Take a game viewing drive at one of the local reserves and experience unspoilt Africa in an open vehicle through grasslands, rocky ravines and beautiful mountains.
In association with Essence of Youth, we also offer a selection of in-room massages and treatments. Whiel some treatments cannot be given at Funky Stay, we will gladly refer you to the on site Spa of our sibling hotel, Shangri-La.

Please note that a 50% deposit is required within 48 hours of the confirmation of your reservation. Bookings that have not been paid the 50% deposit will be cancelled after 48 hours and cannot be guaranteed.
• Access to Modimolle Funky Stay Backpackers is via a 1km gravel road.
• Parking is in front of the hotel buildings.
• We have 24 hour security roaming the grounds.
• Rooms do not offer a mini bar or safe.
• All double rooms have two single beds that can be used as either twins or pushed together to form a double bed
• We are located in a malaria free area.
• We do have proper cellphone signal.
• Due to our location, vervet monkeys, cats and meerkats live on site. We ask guests to respect these animals and not feed, touch or harm them.
• Bathroom towels are supplied, but we request guests to bring along their own swimming towels.
• Our rooms have screed flooring.
• Satellite television is provided by Open HD. We do not offer DSTV.
