The large living room has extensive views of the bay and the Tsitsikama Mountain Range. There is a beautiful front garden with a sloping lawn and flower beds, and the back garden has a vegetable patch as well as a banana tree where guests may pick when it’s ripe.

Plettenberg Bay is one of South Africa’s best whale-watching areas. In season, whales may be seen close to Lookout and Robberg beaches and there are boat trips for closer sightings most of the year round.
