About Metcalfs Longbeach Accommodation

Located in the lovely area of Kommetjie, Cape Town you will find Metcalf's Longbeach Accommodation, a self catering flat with 2 bedrooms with a separate living/eating/kitchen area and large balcony with stunning sea views

The apartment has 2 single beds in the 1st bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom. The bathroom (shower, toilet and hand basin - no bath) leads off directly from the first bedroom. (Guests sleeping in the main bedroom would therefor access the bathroom through the second bedroom). Linen and towels are provided but guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.

The flat is serviced every 5-7 days depending on the length of the booking. An additional cleaning fee of R180 will be charged on these occasions.

The flat is above the main residence. It is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, fridge, microwave, 2 plate cooker, linen, DSTV and free WiFi. A Weber kettle braai is also available for the use of guests. Secure Undercover parking available on site.

Enjoy an easy walk down to our famous Long beach. There is also a swimming pool for those wanting warmer waters!

We do hope that guests like animals as we have 2 small dogs and a cat; they are friendly and love attention!A last but nevertheless important point for noting. it is recommended that guests have their own transport or have arranged transport as Kommetjie is about 8kms from the nearest shopping malls (at Sun Valley) and about 15kms to the nearest train station (at Fish Hoek). The Kommetjie deli, garage shop, cafes and restaurants are about a 20 minute walk from our apartment

Beach: We are very close to the world famous Long Beach, one of SA's surfing mecca beaches. Lovely sea views to be enjoyed from the deck and loung, the walk to the beach is no more than 5-10 minutes.

Golf: We are a 15 minutes drive to the Clovelly Golf course and a little,longer to the Simons town links course.

Important Information

Guests are kindly asked to note that being an upstairs apartment with an outside balcony/deck, the onus rests on them to take particular care with regards to the safety of young children. Similarly, extreme care should be exercised when use is made of the pool.

Much as we love pets, we unfortunately do not not permit guest to bring pets.
Smoking is also not permitted inside the apartment; guests are, however, welcome to smoke on the balcony

Guests are also urged to have their own transport or to have made transport arrangements as the nearest shopping malls and station are about 8km & 12km away from Kommetjie respectively. The local deli, cafes and restaurants are about a 20 minute walk from this establishment

Guests are requested to settle any outstanding booking fees on arrival; an invoice reflecting the amount owed, if any, will be provided
